Fruity, spicy, vibrant and seductive. The palate is elegant and complex with juicy red fruits, baking spice and earthy undertones.

Pinot Noir 100%, various clones used including 114,115, D5V12 & MV6

VINEYARD

Norton Summit, Adelaide Hills. Elevation is 500m and vines are 25 years old. The vineyard is split into 4 small blocks each with different aspects and soil types. Organic Farming

WINEMAKING

80% whole bunches were used with 20% de-stem portion on top of the whole bunches in the fermenter. Hand plunged once daily and left to ferment for 4 weeks before being basket pressed to tank and then transferred to seasoned french oak barriques. Left to rest for 10 months before bottling. Bottled with minimal sulphides.
